YOU Did It!

What an amazing weekend it was! Over 14,000 participants  hit the streets of Halifax and Dartmouth for the 10th annual Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon. Today’s blog post is dedicated to the special group who did the charity challenge in support of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.

Thank YOU for running and walking in support of a loved one, in memory of someone special and for families living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias across Nova Scotia. You’ve trained for months and this weekend all of the training paid off and YOU gav’er!

Whether you ran the 5k or 10k,  or came in first or last, YOU are all winners. YOU set a goal and went after it. YOU raised money and awareness. YOU inspired others. YOU made a difference. YOU should be so very proud.

On behalf of the families we serve and all of the staff at the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, thank YOU for your hard work, dedication and support.

Did you run the Blue Nose? We want to hear from you. What is your favourite memory from the event?
